bridge hunting with mom today. didn't find much in the way of interesting bridges (i'll have to do more research next time), but did see a couple of cool railroad bridges.|

while this isn't quite the bible belt here, i do think of it as the belt loop.
just outside kingdom city, i spied a blown out old gas station, so took a small detour to shoot it. while it didn't turn out to be terribly interesting, the motel next door sure was.
after a less than fabulous lunch at denny's, we headed down to jefferson city. just outside the city, we got caught up in traffic and this is what had slowed it all down. not sure what happened, but i'm pretty sure this guy was done in.
a few back roads along the way, we saw a couple other interesting things. this house is just randomly sitting in a field...
there was a crane unloading and stacking these huge ass pipes out in the middle of freakin' nowhere. gotta wonder what they're gonna build.
and that was pretty much our day.
